Update 1
The number of students who have now signed up on the Volunteer Passport is 30. The students range from Year 10 through to Year 13. They are currently looking for placements in both school and the local schools. They have already begun working with St Bede's First School with a Dance Club and in Spring second half-term, they will be continuing with the Dance Club but also offering a Football Club to the St Bede's students. Plans are already in place to offer Golf and Cricket Clubs in the Summer term. Students are hoping to help out in Meadowdale Middle School as well as a number of community placements.
Four of the students were selected to be part of the Volunteer Event Team for Northumberland Sport and their first big project is to organise the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile which is being held at Druridge Bay Country Park on Sunday 21st May. Good luck to them!!
If any local schools wish to use the students from St Benet Biscop, please contact Alan Mole or Dave Massie (Head of Sport)
