The Blyth & Bedlington School Sport Programme (BBSSP) is situated in the SE corner of Northumberland and is a programme of PE teaching and support with a competition and festival structure led by a team of PE teachers. Funding for the Programme comes from the first, middle, primary, secondary and high schools withing the programme.

At the present time the Programme is staffed by a Schol Sport Programme Manager and three School Sport Programme Teachers.

The Programme serves: 1 High School, 2 Secondary Schools, 1 Academy, 4 Middle Schools, 2 SEN Schools, 10 Primary Schools and 5  First Schools.
